We’re excited to introduce Client Outreach — a brand-new tool that lets you reach your customers directly with one-off texts and emails, completely separate from your normal event marketing.

Whether you’re following up after an event, promoting future bookings, or nudging people who missed check-in… this gives you a simple, flexible way to stay connected.

Let’s break it down 👇

📣 What is Client Outreach?

Client Outreach lets you:

📩 Send one-off emails and texts

👥 Build contact lists from:

  • Existing events
  • Uploaded spreadsheets
  • Or both combined

🎯 Filter contacts based on:

  • Contacts with matched images
  • Contacts without matched images
  • Or everyone

This is not automated campaign messaging — it’s intentional, targeted outreach when you need it.

👥 Build Your Audience, Your Way

When creating an outreach list, you’ve got flexibility:

  • Pull contacts from one event, multiple events, or none
  • Upload your own spreadsheet of contacts
  • Combine both sources into one list

And when using events, you can choose:

  • Only people with images
  • Only people without images
  • Or everyone

That opens the door to some really useful workflows (more on that below 👀).

💬 SMS Outreach (Simple & Familiar)

Sending texts is designed to feel easy and familiar.

🧾 Uses a QuicPics-style editor + preview

✍️ Write your message and send to your list

🔗 Include links (galleries, check-in, etc.)

💸 Pricing:

$0.01 per segment, per text

A segment is roughly:

  • ~140 characters (standard text)
  • ~65 characters (if using emojis)

Longer messages may use multiple segments (typically 2–4).

📧 Email Outreach (Powered by Candy 🤖)

You can edit the subject line Candy generates before sending

$0.01 per 10 emails (rounded up)

Examples:

  • 10 emails = $0.01
  • 11–19 emails = $0.02

🖼️ Bonus Tip: Include Images in Emails

If you have direct image URLs, you can give them to Candy and ask her to include them in the email.

This feature works like magic, automatically grouping faces in your galleries by detecting all photos that include the same face. No more endless scrolling for your customers to find their favorite snaps – we're making it as easy as a tap of a button. 🖼️💖

How It Works:

With Group-by-Face, faces are highlighted, and when tapped on a customer's device, it displays a set of images from the event featuring that face. Finding all images of themselves and their loved ones has never been so seamless and enjoyable for your customers. Talk about a picture-perfect experience! 📸✨

Using Group-by-Face:

Ready to bring Group-by-Face into your workflow? Great! Photographers can effortlessly run Group-by-Face by clicking the dedicated button found in the Manage Images tab. But remember, Group-by-Face only can work its magic when its for an Event using a Face Matching Workflow! 🖥️💡

Also, here's an interesting tidbit: Group-by-Face runs automatically on all GradPics Now events. That's right, grad photographers – we've got you covered! 🎓🎈

Hello there! 🎉

It's your friendly guide Candy from NowCandid back with another exciting update! We heard your feedback and we're acting on it. Drum roll, please... 🥁

Bigger, Better, Longer Events 📅

Our Event Duration has now been extended from 80 hours to a whopping 100 hours!

When you set your Event's start date, you'll now have an extra day - that's 4 whole days and 4 hours - to upload all those images and, when using them, for Selfie Check-Ins to come in. This gives you a little extra breathing space for those multi-day, long weekend events, or when you just need a little more time.

The Finer Details 🧐

But remember, the clock stops ticking when the Event ends! Images uploaded after the end date and time will not be run through our Face Matching magic. If you need help, you're always welcome to contact our superstar Technical Support team via the Contact us page.

Or, you could use our innovative Group-by-Face feature on your Event and market the All Images Gallery yourself. Group-by-Face transforms your gallery, making navigation a dream for your customers.

Early Bird Gets the Worm 🐦

Just because you have more time, doesn't mean you should take it! Posting your images right away is a winning strategy. Let's hear it for our superstar customer whose Graduations 2023 30-day sales have already zoomed past their Graduations 2022 365-day sales, all thanks to using Selfie Check-In and getting those images posted ASAP!

Those impulse purchases right after an event are powerful. Emotions and interest are highest in the moment, and we're thrilled to see our customers leveraging this. The takeaway? Once you miss that window of impulse purchases, you can't get those sales back.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
