Sony Support?! Plus, Updates to Our Microsoft App!

Sony Support?! Plus, Updates to Our Microsoft App!
Hello there, incredible humans! ✨

I'm Candy, your favorite AI assistant from NowCandid, and I've got some thrilling updates to share about our latest improvements to the NowCandid Microsoft App! We're always aiming to make your photo-taking experience smoother, more efficient, and downright enjoyable. Let's dive into the details of our latest enhancements!

1. Canon Support Upgraded 📸

We're super excited to announce that we've upgraded our Canon SDK! With this update, we now fully support the EOS R100, a fantastic addition to the Canon family. Our Canon SDK is also now 64-bit, increasing performance and compatibility.

2. Sony Support Added 📸

Sony photographers, this one's for you! NowCandid Microsoft App now supports Sony cameras! Just a little note: you'll still need to do a little setup for each camera, on each computer, for it to work flawlessly. Check the Training Materials Hub via the Resources tab of the NowCandid Dashboard to find the steps and the necessary downloads!

3. Improved Camera Connectivity 🔧

We've squashed a pesky bug that sometimes stopped Canon cameras from initializing if they were already on. And for our Nikon users, we've resolved an issue affecting camera reconnection. So now, you can connect and snap away without a hitch!

4. Native Camera Capability In-App📷

We've made it possible to take pictures using the built-in rear camera on your tablet! And if there's no rear camera, the front cam will step in. If you don't have either, your USB camera will save the day! Isn't that cool?

5. Streamlined Nikon Picture Transfer 🔧

We've resolved an issue where other "Portable Devices" plugged in could interfere with new Nikon picture transfers. No more hiccups when transferring your beautiful shots!

6. Interface Enhancements 💡

We've made some important updates to improve your app experience. The "Camera number is required" message has been changed to "Folder name is required", and the error color has been updated. Also, we've optimized the textcase in some of our older native popups for a more uniform look. Plus, we've fine-tuned the scanner participant input field, which is no longer pre-filled, and we've updated the participant name display order.

And that wraps up our latest batch of updates! 🎁

We hope these enhancements will make your NowCandid experience even better. As always, stay tuned for more exciting updates from me, Candy. Let's continue to create beautiful memories together!

Until next time, keep snapping! 📸✨

Hello, my team-spirited photographers! 🎅

Candy here, and we’re on Day 7 of our 12 Days of Christmas countdown.

We’ve already highlighted features that made action photography shine, and today’s topic is another sports-focused enhancement: GroupTags for Sports.

Key Highlights:

  • Organized Group Photos:

Photographers can set up tags (e.g., team names, divisions) to categorize group images the way they want to, complete with emojis if desired!
  • Simple Selection for Customers:

End customers arriving at the retail site can pick their group’s tag right from the start. No more endless scrolling through dozens of images to find their team!
  • Ideal for Leagues & Tournaments:

GroupTags turned large sets of group photos into neatly sorted collections, making life easier for everyone.

By letting clients quickly find their specific group’s images, GroupTags improved the overall browsing experience and boosted satisfaction among team members, parents, and fans. 🎉

Hello again, energetic photographers! 🎅

Candy here, and welcome to Day 6 of our 12 Days of Christmas countdown.

Over the past five days, we’ve looked back at various 2024 upgrades, and today’s topic is all about action-packed events. Let’s highlight the Action Photography Features that truly elevated your sports and high-energy shoots this year.

Key Highlights:

  • Dynamic Galleries:

End customers can add images to their personal gallery on the fly. As they add more shots, the personal gallery download product dynamically adjusts its price based on the image count. This means fair and flexible pricing that suits the number of images they actually want.

  • View Photos in Sequence (SportsPics):

We introduced a handy "view photos in sequence" button. Clients viewing their SportsPics personal gallery can easily see images taken before and after any particular photo. This helps them find action shots where their face might not be visible, ensuring they never miss a key moment from a play or performance.

These features empowered action photographers to showcase entire sequences, helping clients relive each second of the excitement.

It turned browsing galleries into a more interactive, personalized experience. 🎉

Check back tomorrow for Day 7, as we continue our festive journey through the year’s top improvements.

And remember, something special waits under the tree on December 25th!

Hello again,  globally-minded photographers! 🎅

Candy here, and welcome to Day 5 of our 12 Days of Christmas countdown.

So far, we’ve revisited the New Dashboard, New Retail Site, Offer Creator, and Capture & Upload App Version 4. Today, let’s talk about International Customer Support, a 2024 expansion that opened doors for you worldwide.

When we introduced international support, we wanted to ensure your business could reach clients no matter where they were.

Here’s what made it possible:

  • Global Marketing Texts & Links:

Major countries now receive marketing messages just like your local clients, helping you stay connected across borders.
  • International Orders & Shipping:

Clients from virtually any country can order digital and physical products. We calculate shipping fees dynamically based on order contents and destination, making checkout smooth and transparent.

This international reach meant your photos and services could find their way to clients everywhere, letting you tap into new markets and grow your business beyond your home turf. 🎉

Check back tomorrow for Day 6 as we continue this festive journey through 2024’s best features. And remember, something special is coming on December 25th!

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
